Today has been a long one! I was up early thanks to my dad and his loud voice, sounding through the walls like a horn. I had an interview at the job center to go over my current situation and see about signing me up for work experience for up to eight weeks at Elite Child Care, which will be good experience, something to do and will look good on my CV. I like the sound of it too - feeding, reading to and chilling with kids. Sounds magic to me.
I just wish someone would hurry up and employ me in Glasgow so I can move through and quit all this pretending to job search in Perth malarkey though. Sigh.
I met my mother and my Aunt Zoe for luncheon and we had a chat about some important things to do with my Granny. Afterwards, I went to Costa's for a (free, because I'm special!) peach iced tea, which was just delish! And then, after counselling - which went well, I was at the Tam's with Drew for a couple drinks and a long chat about tattoo's and a bit of a heart to heart. I love Drew he always cheers me up and he's vair funny.
After tea, I went to Barrie's for a couple hours to watch Black Books (he'd never heard of Dylan Moran until last week! Imagine my shock!), and to play Crash which always makes me so happy, even if my years of not playing have ruined my amazingness at the it. :(
Now I'm at my Auntie Zoe's, dog sitting for her while she does night shift. I had to take Bracken (the dog) out for a walk immediately because when I got here she was going mental, spinning in circles, running from room to room.. etc. It was so funny. So we went for a walk at the park just outside, and I made her run so much for the ball and chase me and stuff. She's flopped on the couch now, completely knackered and I've just had a plate of scampi and wedges because I was super hungry.
The only thing that would make today better was if Kieran was with me here to chill now to a film, but otherwise I'm quite happy. :)
